This conference invites us to place the human being—in all their diversity, complexity, and aspirations, back at the center of digital trajectories.

In a world undergoing accelerated transition, dominated by artificial intelligence and automation logics, it becomes essential to rethink our educational systems, our governance models, and our technological purposes through the lens of fundamental values: dignity, justice, inclusion, and autonomy.

Drawing on his experience in academia and the projects carried out within UM6P, Jalal Charaf will offer reflections on:

  • Education as a lever for social transformation, rooted in territorial and cultural realities
  • The necessity of an ethical and contextualized AI, attuned to local, social, and intercultural challenges
  • Educational approaches that integrate digital humanities, critical thinking, and grounded knowledge.
  • The role of institutions in building a sustainable digital ecosystem, aligned with major transitions (ecological, social, demographic).
