On the morning of October 28, the Mimesis laboratory at the NAD-UQAC school is organizing a meeting of three experts dedicated to the production of content in Fulldome format. The event will bring together creators from various backgrounds to present their technical and artistic approaches to immersive environments.
The meeting, moderated by Manuelle Freire, will be divided into three parts:
Case study presentations — in room N5-110, three 30-minute lectures will explore different creative approaches:
Rémi Lapierre will present his research on audiovisual performances integrating Unreal Engine and TouchDesigner; Sylvain Marotte will discuss live capture and the specific challenges of cinematographic design in immersive environments; Sean Caruso will discuss the use of artificial intelligence tools for the creation of Fulldome short films.
Immersive demonstrations — the meeting will continue on the ground floor, in the NAD school's prototyping dome, where the speakers will present short excerpts from their creations.
The session will end with a Q&A with participants.
